Summit volunteered at Rethreaded, a non-profit with a mission to renew hope, reignite dreams and release potential for survivors of human trafficking through business. We had a blast sorting t-shirts and enjoying some afternoon sun, all while supporting a good cause (and we couldn’t have picked a nicer day to be outside). We spent some time getting to know Rethreaded, toured the warehouse, and then we sorted several bags (pounds!) of shirts that will become products made by and sold by Rethreaded.
“It was great being around an atmosphere created for empowering women, and I had fun spending quality time with my Summit family and the Rethreaded staff!” – Kerrigan
“What I appreciated most was learning about Rethreaded and how they are going out into our Jacksonville community and changing the lives of many people that have been subject to human trafficking. Being a part of something this special really puts things into perspective and makes you realize how much our involvement really means to the organization.” – Jonah
