Summit’s General Superintendent, Tom Born, has been with the team since 2000.
Tom has always said that “we swim in waters no other GCs can swim in,” and he is one of the leading reasons we are able to prove that time and time again. We wouldn’t be where we are today without his contributions as a team leader, mentor and friend.
Over the course of his first 11 years as a Superintendent at Summit, Tom completed a substantial number of successful projects, and he is known as a “straight shooter,” a man of integrity, compassion, and a strong passion for construction. His leadership, unmatched work ethic and undisputed reputation as a “fixer” in the field led to his promotion in 2014 to General Superintendent. Tom oversees all Summit job sites, traveling from site to site ensuring that all Summit procedures and quality standards are strictly adhered to on each project.
